About FrameaPic

FrameaPic was built with a single mission: to provide candidates, students, and global applicants with an entirely private, lightning-fast, and 100% free tool to resize photographs and signatures to exact government portal specifications.

The problem we solve

Every year, millions of applicants face application rejections or delayed submissions because automated portal systems reject their uploaded photos. Whether applying for competitive civil exams (SSC, UPSC, IBPS), state examinations, university admissions, or passport and visa renewals (US DS-160, UK HMPO, Schengen Visa), each portal imposes rigid constraints:

  • Strict maximum file sizes (such as "must be between 20 KB and 50 KB" or "maximum 20 KB for signatures").
  • Exact pixel dimensions (such as 140×60 px, 350×450 px, or 600×600 px).
  • Inflexible aspect ratios and file format restrictions (JPEG/JPG only).

How our technology works (100% client-side)

Unlike traditional online image compression websites that upload your personal documents to cloud servers, FrameaPic performs all image processing locally in your web browser using modern HTML5 Canvas, the JavaScript File API, and hardware-accelerated WebAssembly.

When you select or drop a picture into FormFit:

  1. The file is loaded directly into your computer or smartphone's volatile RAM memory.
  2. Our intelligent binary search algorithm calculates the optimal JPEG compression factor and dimension scaling.
  3. The resulting compliant image is compiled in memory and handed directly back to your browser for immediate download.

Security & privacy promise

At no stage during this process does your image leave your device or pass through our servers. Even if your internet connection disconnects after loading the page, our tool continues to work seamlessly.
